Usually I broil salmon or on the stove/oven combination. This time I decided to bake it completely! Once again this recipe is quick, easy and delicious! We bought our salmon from Costco and then cut it in filets. It was enough for plenty of meals for the week! So it was a great way to meal prep for the week as well!
First I preheated the oven to 425. I also start some rice in the rice cooker. Once the filets were cut, I seasoned with salt, pepper and a variety or seasonings. Some of my go-to and favorites include: old bay, blackened, cajun and dill. I also topped them with some fresh squeezed lemon.
Once they were seasoned, I placed them on a greased baking sheet and popped them in the oven. While they were in the oven, I made some and then made some hot honey to drizzle on top. I baked the salmon for about 15-18 minutes. Baking time will vary based on the size of filets, and how well down you want them to be.

I don’t like to cook them too much, because I like them to be flaky and juicy, not dry. That way they do not dry out when you reheat the meal prep. After 15 minutes, I turn off the oven and then plated all the food before pulling them out of the oven. I topped the salmon with a hot honey drizzle. It all came together for a delicious meal and great leftover meals for the week! How do you like to season and bake your salmon? I’d love to hear your recipes!
