Two ingredient bagels

I am sure you have seen the videos floating around for the minimal ingredients needed to make your own bagels at home! So I decided to give it a whirl and they were pretty freaking delicious!

All you need is about 1 cup of self-rising flour (or 1 cup flour, with 1 ½ tsp. baking powder and ½ tsp salt) with about 1 cup of Greek yogurt. Combine all in a bowl and mix until a dough forms. Use extra flour if needed so the dough is not too sticky/wet. I divide this into 4 balls that I created into 4 bagels. I topped with EVOO and everything but the bagel seasoning. The oven was preheated to about 375 and baked them for about 20 minutes until they were golden. They did not get as golden as I wanted, so next time I will do an egg wash. And maybe I will try different toppings or bagel flavors!

They were so delicious and warm when they come right out of the oven. I had one have with butter and the other with cream cheese and both were so good! The left over bagels reheated perfectly in the toaster and made great breakfast sandwiches. Do you have a favorite at home bagel recipe I should try next? Comment below!
