If you haven’t caught on to previous reviews or menu items I choose to order, I LOVE STEAK. I know shocking. Fogo is my go to place to indulge, but LongHorn is probably one of my favorite places to go just for a date night. Keep reading to find out why!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: I have been to several locations and all are decorated with a Texas ranch style to give you the “ranch-like experience.” The specific location and night, the staff were very friendly, quick and continually checked in if anything else was needed. This night, the music playing fit the country ranch vibe (which is not our favorite LOL) but it doesn’t take away from the delicious food!
Drinks/Cocktails: They offer a variety of drinks options, including beers, cocktails and wine. They have your everyday deals, including the $5.99 Texas Margarita that I ordered. It is not your top shelf or fancy drink. But you get what you paid for – so no real complaints LOL. When I feel fancy, then I know to order the fancier margarita!

Menu: Obviously I go for the steak. All their steak entrees also come with a salad, which we both ordered Caesar salad. This comes out first with their fresh made multigrain bread. The bread is warm, delicious and very addicting (10/10)!!! At the table we ordered the Renegade Steak and grilled shrimp combo. It comes with an 8oz. (or 6oz.) steak, rice pilaf, grilled shrimp and a side and he picked the loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp was flavorful and plentiful.

I love my surf and turf combination. But I will tell you my secret to save a few bucks lol – I order a steak entrée with an added side of lobster tail. I get a bigger steak for $5 less LOL I ordered an 8oz. renegade steak with mashed potatoes and a lobster tail as an added side. My steak was the perfect rare and pairs so well with the mashed potatoes. I did eat lunch this day – but still had no problems eating it all HAHA. Click here to see their full menu. We were both pretty full afterwards, so no dessert was ordered. However, we did stop at Dairy Queen on the way home for a night cap!

Tips/Recommendations: First, order steak. Second, make sure you look at the menu fully. You know my secret of saving some $, but I am sure there are other ways around the menu to get the most out of your buck for all your favorite foods. If you are planning to go at peak dinner times, then call or check with app to join the waiting list. We did not have a long wait to be seated, but times I have seen the wait be over an hour for a table. But also check the bar for seating because that is first come first serve. As hard as it is, try not to fill up on their bread haha. (I know, easier said than done). And as always, try something new every time you go!
