Football season is back and so are Sunday Fundays with all the yummy eats. We can call this dip season! Buffalo chicken is a go-to favorite and this crock pot recipe is super easy and quick to throw together for all the yummy eats! There are various ways to make this delicious dip, but here is my quick, dump recipe!
In my crock pot, I add two cans of chicken, one block of cream cheese, hot sauce, blue cheese, and any cheese I have on end. My favorite cheese to use are cheddar and mozzarella. I do measure, this is a dump recipe and that’s the best way to make it. Pending how fast I need this dip to be ready, I will set to high or low. High only needs about an hour or so.
Once the cheese has started to melt/soften, I give everything a stir to combine it all together. If I want a chunky dip I stir with a rubber spatula. If want the chicken to be broken up and a creamy dip I will also use a fork to break up the bigger chunks. Once I stir and combine all the ingredients, I then to the taste and test if I need more cheese (almost always I add more LOL). There is no such thing as too much cheese.
We eat this with tortilla chips. With the leftovers I will spoon some in the middle of flaky biscuits, in a quesadilla or grilled cheese sandwich or even mix some with cooked pasta for a buffalo chicken pasta! What is your favorite way to eat buffalo chicken dip. Any suggestions or added ingredients we need to try? Comment below!
