Freddy’s Steakburgers (West Chester, PA)

I have passed Freddy’s several times before, but I have never tried it. I have always been intrigued to give it a go, but never pulled the trigger. While running errands last weekend, I was sitting in the Starbucks parking lot (staring right at Freddy’s) and I saw that they had Liscio‘s roll boxes. So naturally, I decided that when I am done with my errands, Freddy’s will be lunch😂.

Ambiance/Atmosphere: The inside is so fun! 50s dinner style with the white and black tile floor and all red furniture! They even call your order number over the loud speaker when its ready!

Menu: True to their name, they’re famous for their steakburgers. But they also have chicken sandwiches, tenders, hot dogs, desserts, shakes and sides! I should have looked at the menu before walking in, because of course I had a hard time deciding what to order.

I decided to order the single steakburger combo, with a mini chocolate shake and the shoestring fries. Then I added a side of cheese curds! With all I wanted to ordered, I decided to go with the single steakburger (rating: 9/10) to make sure that I didn’t over order LOL. It was the perfect amount, but their patties are thinner, so I would definitely do the double next time! The shoestring fries were perfectly thin, crispy and salty (rating: 9/10). The mini chocolate shake was the perfect size, thickness and chocolaty flavor (rating: 10/10). The cheese curds were my favorite and totally worth adding to my order (rating:10/10). Tips/Recommendations: If you love cheese as much as I do, then definitely try the cheese curds! If you are hungry, do be afraid to get a double steakburger, as they are thinner patties. Save room for dessert if you do not get a milkshake… because the have quite the selection. I am dying to try one their custard treats! Lastly, as always, try something new every time you go!
