Still over here trying to step up my meal prepping game and still on the hunt for new lunch ideas! Last week I made chicken sausage and quinoa.
Quinoa can be pretty bland. When I make it, I try to seasoning it before and while it’s cooking. For this meal prep I added salt, white pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder and some paprika to the pot of water and quinoa. As it was brought to low boil and began to fluff up, I added grated asiago cheese to level up the taste!

As the quinoa cooked, I cut peppers and onions to sauté with the chicken sausage. I keep the sausage links whole and add them to pan with oil and butter. When they are cooked about half way, I take them out and slice them. I add the sliced sausage back to the pan with the peppers and onions. I continued to sauté until the peppers and onions are soft and the sausage has browned. I placed the quinoa in the container first and then top it with the sausage, peppers and onions.
It was the perfect hot lunch! Do you have a favorite recipe for hot lunches I should try? I would love to hear it.

Well my favorite lunch is grilled cheese lol. I also like quinoa. My favorite recipe is to mix it with cucumbers and tomatoes. Adding garlic and salt and pepper. Yummy
