Blueberry Bagels

We are back with another bagel recipe… because I am obsessedddd! This time around was blueberry bagels. Mainly because I had blueberries that needed to be used LOL.

Once again, I use my base two-ingredient bagel recipe with some modifications. I liked my cinnamon raising bagels, so I used that as a guide to start. First, I mixed the dry ingredients: 1 cup bread flour, 1 ½ tsp. baking powder, ½ tsp. salt, and 1tbsp. sugar. Then in a separate bowl, I mixed 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp. sugar, and some vanilla. I slowly mixed the wet ingredients with the dry. When the dough started to form, I folded in about 1/3 cup fresh blueberries. When the dough was formed, I divided into 4 bagels. I did an egg wash on both sides and then sprinkled the top with some raw sugar. I used the air fryer at 350 for about 18-20min.

They were perfect. They came out golden and toasty, but still soft. They were the perfect bagel to pair with cream cheese! But once again, my mind is rolling with other recipe ideas, and I think the next one needs to be a savory recipe – stay tuned!
