Here is an updated review/new review all rolled out in one! I have been to Suburban’s Brewery Tap room several times. Some of my favorite items to order are the burgers and nachos. But you cannot forget about their specials. As for beers, the sour had been my go to, but they did offer a Mexicali beer that I thought was refreshing as well as paired perfectly with the nachos. But be warned – the nachos were sneaky spicy, almost too spicy for me. They were a huge platter so don’t plan to order anything else, unless of course you want left overs. Suburban also has a beer garden/restaurant in Eagleview – which the pictures they posted looked too perfect not to go and check it out!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: The beer garden is located on the lower level of the same building as Bluefin, another favorite spot of mine. In the summer time, they have blocked off parking/road out front to extend the outdoor seating that creates an awesome vibe. The courtyard also has live music throughout the summer months. It was a hot day, so seating inside the AC was necessary. We decided to sit at the bar. It was a quiet afternoon, so not too busy. The bartender was friendly with great food recommendations. It was a great stop for a long holiday weekend.

Drinks: They have a list of their own beer on drafts, but also a good options of other beers plus cocktails. I was feeling in a cocktail mood. First round I decided to order the salty dog. I was looking for something refreshing and not sweet. It was the perfect cocktail. The salt rim, I could have done without. But the grapefruit was very refreshing on a hot summer day. I give it a 7.5/10. Second round I decided to order an orange crush. I didn’t realize it would be in a larger glass than the first cocktail and it was strong; very strong, that it gave me a great afternoon buzz LOL. I would definitely order one of their crushes again, a 9/10!

Menu: Their menu is farm focused with some fun twists on originals. I have been eying their new appetizer specials ever since I saw them post it on their social. I was finally going to order and try their deep fried crab devil egg. IT. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. 10/10 as it was the perfect crispy deep fry flavor without the oily feeling. The filling was creamy and the right amount of mustard. I could have had more crab meat, but honestly it was still a delicious and balance bite. I will say it does stray away from your traditional deviled egg, so you need to be open and willing to mix up that flavor LOL.For main course I decided to stick with the seafood vibe and order the bucatini. It came with clams, mussels and shrimp in a creamy tomato sauce. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. It balanced the pasta well that you could have a piece of something in each bite. I give it a 9/10, my one complaint was it didn’t come with a piece of bread for me to slop of the delicious sauce out of the bowl LOL. Click here to see more!

Tips/Recommendations: Besides giving it a try, they also offer happy hour. So a great time to go and try a few things. I would recommend their cocktails, especially the crushes! I would also recommend the bucatini if you are looking for the perfect seafood and pasta dish combination. I only recommend the fried devil eggs if you are feeling daring, because they are not for everyone LOL. And as always, try something new every time you go.

Sounds like a great place. I would definitely have the eggs and the pasta. Can’t believe you didn’t ask for a slice of bread lol
