Movie Tavern (Exton, PA)

Dinner and movie? Why not both at one location! Movie Tavern in Exton is the spot for you to enjoy dinner, drinks and movie all in one shot!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: I have been here several times before, but since covid, things have changed a bit. No longer do they take your order after you have seated in the theater. You need to order before you find your seat. But everything is still delivered to your seat! The bar is located in the lobby. Best to order drinks before walking to the theater!  It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy dinner and the movie. If you like to enjoy your night in one spot, with friendly staff, then this is the spot for you!

Drinks: The bar offers full service. I ordered a triple tequila margarita! It came in two sizes, and I opted to go big and not go home LOL. It was strong, but not over powerful; a perfect movie cocktail!

Menu: Fear not, popcorn and your go-to movie snacks are on the menu! But they have more options, including apps, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and more! Movie theater popcorn was ordered, with extra butter! Always get a bucket, so you can take any leftover home to continue to enjoy (and that is just what I did LOL). I also opted to order the sliders with extra pickles. They were perfect bite side burgers with cheese and pickles! The fries were crispy and seasoned. They were the perfect pairing to the sliders and popcorn! Click here for the menu/ordering ahead of time!

Tips/Recommendations: There are multiple locations you can check out! I recommend buying your movie tickets ahead of time. You can order your food ahead of time online. But I think it is easiest to get there early, order you food at the counter and then they bring it right to your seat! I also recommend stopping at the bar and getting your drink before you go back to the theater. If you have a choice of cocktail size, I say go big or go home! Plus you will have a drink for the more of the movie! There is a window of time of ordering/items to be delivered to your seat, so make sure you plan accordingly. And as always, try something new every time you go!
