Hey friends, making progress here! We are nearing the end of my Panama reviews! Our last day we had lunch at Nacion Sushi, a spot within walking distance from my cousin’s place!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: This place had a great vibe. A bit of a travel like theme with signs and decor but very modern and colorful. They have able seating inside, even a separate mezzanine that is great for larger parties! They also offer outdoor seating, which is awesome for the warm weather afternoon and evenings that Panama offers.
Drinks: They offer a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Mom and I had a hard time deciding, but we decided to go with one our their fresh blended drinks. It was a lime and mint mixture, essentially a nonalcoholic mojito! It was so refreshing, smooth and perfectly tart. It gets a 9/10.
Menu: The menu had so many options which, as always, makes for difficult deicions. Luckily Mom and I had similar cravings, so we ordered several items to share. We started off with the tuna wonton taco like appetizer (10/10). They were fresh, crunchy and well balanced. I loved the wonton shell! We also wanted sushi and who knew they would have so many roll options. We selected the one with tuna and salmon (our two favorites) and fresh avocado. Another 10/10 item off the menu. Lastly, we decided to order a poke bowl with salmon (9/10). A fresh way to enjoy sushi in a bowl form! Around the table, shrimp and beef stir fries were also order. Click here to view the full menu!
Tips/Recommendations: First, this is a must stop spot! You do not want to miss out on trying this place. We went for lunch, and it was fairly quiet and not busy. But as time went on they did get busier, so plan accordingly! They also offer delivery and to-go, which was very busy while we were there as well. Highly recommend ordering the tuna wonton tacos as well. And as always, try something new every time you go!
