I am obsessed with Starbucks Brown Sugar Shaken espresso with oat milk! Summertime I like to make my own cold brew, but I still wanted that brown sugar flavor. So I decided to make my own brown sugar syrup!
It is super easy and turned out so yummy. I mixed one cup of brown sugar and one cup of water in a sauce pan. I mixed on low heat until all sugar was dissolved. I let it cool completely and placed it in an air tight bottle.
I keep it stored in the fridge and it has come in handy. I have had it in hot coffee and iced, and both are delicious. I will pour some in the coffee, but I have also added it to the cream or oat milk for more added flavor! It’s not exactly like Starbucks but it has been a at home fix! Have you tried to make your own flavor syrup for coffee – what should I try next?

I have. I made Lavender syrup. Used the same method but less sugar 🙂
