Spread Bagelry (Wayne, PA)

It’s been too long, so mom and I scheduled another Mommy-daughter day. Obviously it had to be filled with good food and fun drinks! First stop was for breakfast at Spread Bagelry in Wayne. Bagels are a great way to start your day!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This cute bagel joint is right by Sugaree and Great American Pub. Spread give a small cafe vibe and they have a few tables in their seating area. The window seating is the best. Staff are friendly and welcoming; you feel like you are part of the family when you walk in until you leave.

Drinks/Coffee: They offer a variety of bottle drinks, coffees and teas. Both mom and I ordered a mocha (hot) with oat milk 11/10. It was not too sweet at all. The oat milk still gave it a creamy and delicious finish. Next time (when we go in warmer weather) we will be ordering an iced drink!

Menu: They don’t have a huge menu, but they have a variety of bagels, spreads, toppings, breakfast sandwiches and lunch offerings! Knowing that we still had more food in our day, we decided to each just order a bagel with cream cheese. Mom ordered a rye bagel with the bacon maple cream cheese and ordered the everything bagel with the scallion cream cheese. Both were so delicious and were a great balance to the other. Bagels came toasted,  smeared and each half sliced in half –which made it perfect for mom and I to share! They make their bagels fresh daily in a wood fire brick oven. Tips/Recommendations: There are not many tables, so it can be busy if you plan to eat there. But they also do take-out orders, online orders as well! Check the local delivery apps as well. We recommend the bacon maple cream cheese and the scallion cream cheese. They are the most popular flavors. Coffee is a must order. And always, try something new every time you go!
