The fresh peach muffins were so delicious. But options are nice so Carmel Apple Muffins were also on the menu!
This was another easy recipe to bake! I prepared my batter while the peach muffins were baking. Again, I cut the recipe below in half because I did not want 12 muffins, but it still made 9!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- 4 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ tsp. vanilla
- 2-4 apples, chopped
- 2 tbsp. caramel
- cinnamon sugar
For this recipe the oven needed to be set to 350. So I made that change once I took out the peach muffins. I prepared and greased the muffin molds. In a bowl I combined flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl I combined the milk, butter, egg and vanilla. I then slowly whisked in the wet ingredients with the dry created the batter.

In another bowl I placed the chopped apples and stirred in the caramel. I made sure that all apple pieces were coated with caramel. I then folded them into the batter. Again I filled the molds until they were ¾ full and topped each of them with cinnamon and sugar. I baked them for about 20-25 minutes, until the tooth pick came out clean!

Again, we ate them warm with some vanilla ice cream and again they made a delicious breakfast as well! J. What is the next muffin recipe I should try? Comment below!
