Sautéed Cabbage

I had bought some cabbage slaw from Aldis for tacos. I needed to cook off the cabbage before it went bad and I was tired of eating it in salads! So here is a quick and easy side dish recipe!

I heated a pan over medium heat with oil. I chopped a half an onion and 2 cloves of garlic. When the oil was heated, I sautéed the onion for about 3 minutes. Next I added garlic and the cabbage slaw. I seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika. I added about 2 tbsp of butter and continue to sauté the cabbage.

I cooked down the cabbage, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking and too much browning. After about 10 minutes, the cabbage was ready to enjoy. What is quick recipe do you have to cook off food before it does bad?! Comment below!
