Next stop for girls weekend was a few more stops up the regional rail to Love Park. When in Philly, stopping by Love Park is a must (specially on a beautiful summer day)! New, is The Lawn at Love Park, a pop up beer garden!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: They have a gorgeous garden set up with plenty of seating including tables, high tops and chairs. There is a sandbox for kids and corn hole. It a great spot for the whole family. QR codes are at all the tables/seating for quick easy ordering and paying!
Drinks/Cocktails: They have a great selection for a pop up! Variety of canned beer, wine, ciders, seltzers and spirits as well as nonalcoholic drinks for the whole family. We ordered cocktails of course (I know you are surprised lol). You could order the cocktails by the glass or in a pouch – but we had to do the pouch. We ordered the watermelon margarita (10/10) and the Loveluck Lemonade (10/10). Both were deliciously refreshing with lots of crushed ice on a summer day. Menu: The food truck offers a great selection and they are speedy! After seeing pictures on social media, we decided we had to order the curly fries and Mexican street corn (10/10 for both). From ordering on our phone, our food and drinks were to us within 10 minutes if not less. The curly fries were seasoned well and crispy! The street corn was cut into shareable pieces and seasoned perfectly. We would definitely recommend them both. I think it will definitely be worth coming back and try more of their menu! Tips/Recommendations: Take the Septa system into the city and you do not have to worry about parking. Suburban Station brings you right out to the park. The cocktails are freshly made and super refreshing for the summer. We recommend ordering them in the pouch! Don’t forget to stop at the LOVE sign and get your picture! And as always, try something new every time you go!
