Sweet Shop (Skippak, PA)

After a day of organizing and unpacking with Casey, calls for dessert. And of course it should be ice cream, because that is our favorite! We took a nice stroll to Sweet Spot right by her house. It was beautiful summer day and ice cream just made it that much better!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This cute little candy shop is right in town of Skippack. They have a walk up window, and plenty of outdoor seating, both in the sun and shade for the summer days and nights. The staff was great! Even let me taste a flavor before ordering. It is a great spot to take the family. But be warned this is a candy shop and they have lots of options for the sweet tooth in your family! LOL

Menu: They have a variety of candy, bake goods and homemade ice cream. I forgot to take a picture of all their flavors. Casey ordered the mint chocolate chip. I was intrigued by their Guatemalan swirl. I tasted it and was sold. It was coffee ice cream with a fudge swirl. A solid 10/10 and I would definitely recommend. We both ordered a single scoop (that was huge) in a dish. We did not have problems finishing it, but definitely didn’t need the whole dish LOL. But as Grandpa always says, ice cream just fills in the cracks LOL.

Tips/Recommendations: Take a walk to this location on a beautiful day and bring the whole family. If you like ice cream, you will not be disappointed by any of their flavors. They are big scoops, so if you are not that hungry order the kid size! LOL Order different flavors with your group and share. And as always, try something new every time you go!
