PA recently brought back bar service – and I am a happy girl! So naturally that means we need to hit up a sports bar! Primanti Bros. was on our list. This sports originated in Pittsburgh, but is making its to the east of PA.
Ambiance/Atmosphere: This is another great sports bar with lots of TVs, tables, high tops and bar seating. Sport memorabilia (both Philly and Pittsburgh sports) cover all the walls. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Great place to sit at the bar with a drink to watch your game!
Cocktails/Drinks: Sports bar means another great selection of draft and bottle beers as well as cocktails! I ordered a classic margarita. It was very delicious!
Menu: As a sports bar, they have all the good eats of wings, pizza and sandwiches. As well as fries and tots! We ordered the Bacon Cheddar Ranch Fries. They were so good. Fresh cut fries topped with cheddar cheese sauce, ranch and bacon! Only downfall was the cheese sauce makes the fries soggy if you do not eat them fast enough. Tips/Recommendations: Go during happy hour! You will not regret it! All drinks are half off. We had two cocktails for only $8 total. Pre-covid they had a $3, 4, 5 menu of food during happy hour. It was great with wings, pizza, burger and sandwiches. Sadly it was not still offered. But we hope that it comes back and if it does – then happy hour is even more of a must go then! We would also recommend ordering the fries, even just plain, because they are delicious! And lastly, try something new on the menu every time you go!
