Anyone else do day trips just for food like my family and I? Honestly, food makes a trip in my opinion. Whether it’s a day, a few days or a long vacation, food is always a topic of discussion. So, why not plan your day around food? That’s what my mom and I did on our most recently play day! Food places and shopping, the perfect day trip. So the first stop on our list was breakfast at Jimmy John’s. No, this is not you “super fast” delivery sub restaurant – this is way better! Jimmy John’s Pipin’ hot sandwiches is very famous for their Frankfurters! 🌭
Ambiance/Atmosphere: COVID has changed things for many restaurants, but Jimmy John’s still stays true to the family fun (socially distant) environment. There is a live train set for the kids (and adults too if you like)! They are a family friendly and welcoming place! The staff are awesome!
Menu: Once again this menu does not disappoint. They have hot dogs 🌭 with toppings. They have many options, it will be hard for you to choose what you want to get. But they also have sausage sandwiches, burgers, chicken and steaks too! And their french fries 🍟 are SOOO good. You cannot forget to get them when you go. I mean, mom and I got them with breakfast! 😆 Their hash browns are just as good! But check out their menu here for yourself. I am sure you will get hungry just reading the options like I do!
Tips/Recommendations: My #1 tip again, try something new every time you go. I know its hard to not reorder something because you liked it so much, but there are options and different toppings you can get. Don’t be afraid to mix it up! Do what my mom and I did. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches. One pork roll, egg and cheese and one hot dog egg and cheese. We asked them to cut them in half so we could share both! And yes, if you are wondering, I would recommend both sandwiches. They fry the meat and the egg and the cheese is so ooey-gooey good!
