I was not completely sold on Green Street Grill the first time around and I prefer Kelly’s when in the mood to go out for breakfast. But mom and I gave it a few more tries and I will say it is growing on me!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: Staff are still amazing here. But what matters the most is timing. It wasn’t busy when we first arrived. But by the time we left, there was a line of people waiting to be seated. I do think how busy they are affects your experience. Staff still are the same, always checking in, but not too much. Making sure your coffee stays filled and hot. But they also have quick service. I think it just makes for a nicer meal when they are less busy and it’s more quiet.

Menu: I did start to follow Green Street on Social Media, so seeing them post their weekly specials made me want to go back as well. This time around I ordered their weekend special with the bratwursts. I thought the bacon was separate but here they were bacon beer brats. They were perfectly cooked, savory and delicious. You could taste both the bacon, beer and sausage. I also remembered to ask for my hashbrowns extra crispy and they were much better! Mom and I also decided we need to taste the special pancake, gingerbread. It didn’t disappoint. The pancakes are large and not overly sweet. It was a delicious bite. We didn’t mind that it was large, because it meant leftovers! Lol Now every time we go, we get the specials before they go away. Slowly we will try more of the regular menu. I still need to go back and try lunch!
Tips/Recommendations: I still recommend that you order coffee. It’s delicious, hot, always gets topped off by staff. I also recommend asking for the hashbrowns extra crispy because it make them more enjoyable. Get the specials while you can because they do not disappoint either. And as always, try something new every time you go.
