Kelly’s (Thorndale)

Our favorite breakfast spot to eat in and take out: Kelly’s. We came across this place when we first moved in this area, and it stills stands as our favorite breakfast spot.

Ambiance/Atmosphere: Another great family-owned restaurant. In the past couple years, they have expanded and the space is great! Kelly’s is an open cafe with a home-like vibe. Another place that makes you feel like part of the family. All the staff are awesome and so friendly.

Menu: Another place with a big menu that is hard to choose. But as always, it never disappoints no matter what you choose! They have classic eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, sandwiches and more! The bagel sandwiches are one for my favorite. I love to get the breakfast combo: 2 eggs, homefries, breakfast meat and pancakes or french toast. It’s the best of all worlds if you cannot decide! Kelly’s is also great at offering specials and lunch! We haven’t ventured to try their lunch menu yet. But I can’t imagine that anything would be bad. Explore more of their menu here!

Tips/Recommendations: Go to recommendation – try something new every time you go! Make sure you try the specials if you like the sound of them, before they leave the menu! If you’re in a rush, then call ahead and do take out! I love that they still offered this throughout quarantine! Staff even leave notes on your take out containers for inspiration! You can get coffee to go as well if you need that caffeine fix in your morning rush!

  1. I’ve been there for breakfast a couple of time with Maria (of course). Hardest thing is deciding. I always sent for the special. Never had a complaint.
