We all know I love pasta bakes, especially for quick weeknight dinners when its chilly! This one was a good one that I can’t wait to add other variations!
I preheated the oven to 375. My mis-en-place included chopped onions and peppers, minced garlic, canned mushrooms and diced chicken breast. I added all of this in a greased glass baking dish and I then added 1 jar alfredo sauce that I used 1 cup chicken broth to rinse out. I used 1 box of protein pasta and 1 borsin garlic and herb cheese block. I seasoned with some salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, mixed together, covered with foil and baked for about 35 minutes. I removed the dish, mixed all together to incorporate the borsin cheese. I topped with some more shredded mozzarella and baked an additional 20 minutes.
It was a great dinner, lunch and meal prep for the week! I loved added the mushrooms in this time around. I think next time, I will make it in a smaller version with only half the pasta because I did get tired of too many leftovers LOL. Comment below if you have other pasta bake suggestions!
