Crock Pot Chicken Ravioli

I was looking for an easy recipe at the same time as using up some freezer/pantry items. I envisioned a saucy ravioli, but it turned out more like a soup LOL. It was still delicious, so it did not go to waste. I had a pack of frozen raviolis and boneless chicken thighs that needed to be used. I decided to make this the easiest meal, the crock pot was needed.

I added one can of cream of chicken soup and one can of cream of mushroom soup to the crock pot. Both were condense cans and I did a can full of water in each to rinse out the can. This is why I think it turned out more soupy than I wanted – so next time I will skip this step haha.

The chicken thighs had defrosted. I seasoned them with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Then added them to the crock pot. I turn it on high and allowed the chicken to cook. After about 1 to 1 ½ hours on high I added chopped mushrooms, onions and garlic. I allowed to cook for another 30 minutes or so. I think checked the chicken and began to shred the thighs. Lastly I added my ravioli, an Aldi find! I continued to cook this for about another 30 minutes.

Like I said, it ended up be more of a soup, but it was delicious. The mushroom truffle ravioli was delicious and I would buy it again! It paired well with the fresh mushrooms. But next time, I will make it less soup like LOL.
