Loxley’s (Lancaster, PA)

Mom and decided to check out Chicago at the Dutch Apple theater. We opted for show only tickets so we could enjoy dinner at Loxley’s before. It was a delicious pre-show meal indeed!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This place is great for all occasions! Perfect outdoor/patio seating, indoor seating, bar seating and more! The outdoor seating (two levels) is awesome. We sat at the bar in their semi open patio. It was a perfect late summer evening! The bartenders were friendly and service was quick (just what we needed before a show).

Drinks: They had a huge draft list (probably around 30+ options lol). I was so overwhelmed, that I decided to just order a margarita. It was delicious with a mini punch of strength. Mom ordered a beer, another great refreshing option!

Menu: Both mom and I looked at the menu before going. We had to look at all the options to help narrow down what we may want. The menu has lots of options but all we knew was we wanted to get something delicious, but not heavy as we were about to sit through a show. We decided one ordering two different sandwiches to split! The first was the smoked salmon BLT. This sandwich on a sourdough bread with garlic aioli was so good. 8/10 for this sandwich. The second was the honey goat burger. It was topped with goat cheese, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach and a honey drizzle. 10/10 on this burger. Would definitely order it again! The fries were the best. Lightly seasoned, crispy but soft and hot on the inside! Click here to see more of the menu!

Tips/Recommendations: If you are going with a bigger party and/or a peak time, definitely make a reservation! This is also the outdoor dining spot you want to try! Go during happy hour and sit at the bar! I would recommend the honey goat burger! the Salmon BLT is a better lunch option in my opinion. And as always, try something new every time you go.
