La Cabra Brewing (Berwyn, PA)

Don’t worry friends, I am still here trying to get all reviews and recipes written down! I have a long list of drafts waiting for the written words, but I just keep eating and exploring. So there is not much time to actually write – but fear not, I will catch up…eventually LOL. But make sure you follow my Instagram as I continually share store finds and food reviews in my highlights! But here we go, my next review for you all!

What happens when you meet up with your work out bodies outside of the gym? You get some good eats and drinks to balance out those hard work outs! We decided to meet up at La Cabra in Berwyn; it was my first time there and I would go back!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This tavern style pub is a great hang out spot. There is outdoor seating in the back on the patio. They have seating and bar seating inside with big windows that open up. They also have a dinner room upstairs available to rent out for private events if you wish! Staff were friendly, but it was not the best table service. I think next time I will sit at the bar!

Of course I waited too long to type this up and share with you, that I cannot remember what I ordered and the current list doesn’t sound like anything I ordered LOL. I believe it was a sour and it was delicious! Crisp, refreshing and light. I would recommend as I ordered a second glass LOL. They have a good variety; if you cannot decide, then ask for a flight!

Menu: Their menu is not huge, but do not let that fool you. Between their regular items and specials they offer, I still had a hard time deciding what to order. I know they may not be a surprise to you LOL. I decided to order the Mojo Pork Tacos. They came with house made chips and salsa! Everything gets a 10/10. The pork was tender, flavorful and paired well with the slaw. the chips were the perfect crunch and sturdiness to pile up salsa on top. I would definitely order them again. Tips/Recommendations: We went late afternoon on a Sunday and they were not busy at all. But I have driven by when they are, so plan ahead for sure! I would recommend trying one of their drafts or a flight if you cannot decide. The tacos, of any filling I think, is a must order. If you do not get a side of the chips and salsa (you can pick fries as well) then make sure you order chips and salsa alone. Because those chips are bomb!! And as always, try something new every time you go!
