Chia Seed Pudding

I love dessert! Even at breakfast time with a nice cup of coffee! But every now and then, I am in the search for new dessert options that are healthier or guilt free! I came across this chia seed pudding recipe so I thought I give it a go. It’s quick, easy and pretty delicious. This recipe gives you plenty of room to make it your own or customize where you want! The basic recipe is not sweet but you can toppings or other ingredients as you wish!

You start with a ½ cup of your milk of choice. I used oat milk, it has become my favorite! Then I added ¼ cup of chia seeds, 1 tbsp. cocoa powder, ½ tsp vanilla and 1 tbsp. honey and mixed until well combined. I refrigerated overnight and then enjoyed with some fresh raspberries! In another dish I used only ½ tbsp. of cocoa powder with ½ tbsp. of peanut butter powder. It was a delicious chocolate peanut butter combination.

I will say it is a different texture that pudding; similar to tapioca pudding. So if that doesn’t bother you and you looking for a not so sweet dessert or breakfast option – this is for you! I think I will continue to pair different flavors! If you try this or have a pairing suggestion – I’d love to hear it. Comment below!
