Conway Social Club (Lancaster, PA)

Next stop after the Exchange was Conway Social Club for another chill cocktail experience on First Friday. Located above Annie Baileys, you are going to want to check out their chic lounge bar!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This fun spot requires a knock for entry. It gives you speakeasy vibes as you have to knock and wait to be allow inside. But don’t worry there is no code word (yet lol). This club so to speak has a bar, table and lounge seating. It great for an intimate date or a chill spot to hang and sip drinks with friends. The staff and bartenders are amazing. They make great recommendations, cocktails and are so welcoming!

Drinks/Cocktails: Be warned now, cocktails are strong. But they are so delicious. You will get a sample of a special or season cocktail the bartender may be working on but they also have a menu full of options made with a variety of liquors. They also have spirits, wines and beers. Lia ordered Garden Varietals (9/10) and I ordered Yellow Canary (9/10). All were delicious and strong. LOL I think the most surprising and fun part was the fact that I was literally drinking out of a bird. Such a fun twist on a cocktail name! Check out their cocktail list here!

Menu: They have a variety of foods, apps and a late night menu. We have yet to try and order anything yet, but maybe we will next time. Knowing how much we love Annie Baileys food I don’t think we can be disappointed. Click here to see their menu!

Tips/Recommendations: Recommendation number 1 is make a reservation. Sometimes there can be a wait or not a big enough area for your party. Specially with limited seating due to Covid – reservations are always a good idea! Wait until you get your cocktail sample before ordering. We made this mistake and I actually really liked the same and wish I ordered that instead. If you are unsure of what you want, ask the staff. Describe your favorite tastes or liquors and they can point you in the right direction. And as always, try something new every time you go!
