I love gnocchi. I try to always keep some in my kitchen because I always seem to want it when I don’t have it! One of my favorite ways to make gnocchi is to fry it! Frying makes everything better right!? This recipe is super easy. I promise when you make this once, you’ll want to have gnocchi this way you’ll prefer it to most!
What you need:
- Italian Seasoning
- Grated Parmesan
As I said this recipe is super easy. Heat about a half inch of oil in a pan on medium high heat. Then drop the gnocchi in the heated oil. Take a metal spatula or tongs to make sure the gnocchi are separated and do not stick together as they fry. Keep them frying until they get to be a nice golden brown. Remove them to a paper towel lined plate and salt them immediately.
As some of the excess oil comes off, I transfer them to a bowl and add a bit more salt, Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese and give it a good shake. Lastly, you enjoy! Easy recipe but so delicious! Sometimes I will serve some marinara on the side for a dipping sauce!
