On the most recent play day that mom and I had we had done a bit of shopping, then needed to refuel on some yummy food! Our next stop was Cafe Napoli in Wilmington. This is a family owned, Italian restaurant with all the good foods and great prices!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: Cafe Napoli is a great place for take out or a pizza place vibe as the front of the restaurant has an open kitchen and pizza oven for you to watch the chef cook! They also have more seating in the back half of the restaurant. The walls are painted to make you feel like you are in Italy! It is a relaxing and warming experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly as well. They make you feel like you are part of the family and that keeps you coming back for more!
Menu: Again, if you haven’t seen the pattern in my reviews, most of the places we go to have menus that are big that make it hard to choose from but they will not disappoint. Cafe Napoli falls right in line, but again you cannot go wrong with anything! We love their pasta🍝 and pizza🍕. They have a variety of toppings and sauces for both and they are all good. On this day mom and I decided on calamari, sausage calzone and the Italian stromboli -and we recommend them all! This calamari is one of the best out there. It is lightly battered but still very crispy! Both the calzone and the stromboli were huge – so be prepared to take some home! Click here to check out more of Cafe Napoli’s delicious menu!
Tips/Recommendations: My go-to recommendation: try something new every time you go! Go with someone that will order something different so you can both share with each other. If you decide to do to-go ordering, then go with the pizza, steaks or strombolis. If you are dinning in, then go for the pasta or one of the entrees! The top must orders:
1. Calamari
2. Pizza – any kind
3. Pasta – again any kind. If you like seafood and spicy, definitely do the traditional seafood create your own pasta with the Diavolo sauce. You will not regret it!

The hardest thing about Cafe Napoli is choosing what to get. Honestly we have never had an item that was bad. It is that good.
