Where do I start with this next stop… probably that it was so good and I loved it so much that we left, went back to the Airbnb and then turn around and came right back. Now, I can’t wait to go back again to Under the Moon Café for more! See the full reel here!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: What appears to be a house with a wrapped around porch really is the quaint restaurant. They have lots of outdoor seating in the yard and on the covered porch. Inside they have more table seating and a pretty large bar. The staff were awesome! From the time you walked up till when you left. We sat at the bar the first time, and the bartenders were amazing. It was a great stop for dinner, drinks or any food with friends, family or a date night! It has a nice modern chic vibe.
Drinks: While researching new places to try, Under the Moon café came up for the best cocktails. And let me tell you, the Google reviews did not lie! We saw the 3 bartenders easily make 100 some cocktails in the couple hours we were there. Over the two times we were there, I ordered the one presecco cocktail (because it was sparkly), the cosmopolitan (2x), and the lemon drop. All get 11/10 and I would order them all again. The cosmo was my favorite for the day, but I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of their options. Click here to see them all!
Menu: This was not a stop for a specific meal, but drinks and apps so to speak. Along with the cocktails, they are also known for the tapas menu. Which was the perfect option for this occasion. We selected the tower were you could pick 3 different tapas. First was mushrooms, a favorite I cannot pass up. Next was the pork belly. Again another favorite that I can’t not try when it is on the menu. We let the bartender recommend the final one which was the steak, chimichurri with mashed potatoes. Just like the cocktails, each one was amazing and so delicious! I would order them all again and of course try any of their tapas. They make great bites with drinks.
When we came back, we were sitting outside to listen to the live music. Of course I needed to sample something else. This time was the crispy tuna bites and their French Fries. More amazing bites that I would eat again and again. It just makes me think that everything on the menu is good and I don’t think you would be disappointed because I surely wasn’t! Tips/Recommendations: This is a MUST stop spot. I cannot wait to go back. Maybe try brunch or a full dinner. I highly recommend sitting at the bar and outside if the weather is nice enough. The tapas are a perfect option, but if you get a change, the French fries were fire! If you plan to go with a big group or at a specific time, a reservation is also recommended. Though they have a great happy hour as well! And as always, try something new every time you go.
