Peaches and Ice Cream

In case you didn’t figure it out, I love making frequent stops at The Goat. The peaches this season were the best and I am a bit obsessed. One of my favorite ways to eat them is with some vanilla ice cream!

Cut them in half and remove the pit. Rub them with a heaping scoop of brown sugar and then grill them until they are charred and crispy. Serve them hot with a nice, big scoop of ice cream!

Don’t want to fire up the grill, or the weather is not cooperating, then try them in the air fryer! I thought they turned out pretty good, but not quite as good as the grill. Again, cut them in half and remove the pit. I rubbed in a big scoop of brown sugar and then a dollop of butter. I air fried them at 390 for about 10 minutes face up. They do not get as charred, but they have a nice, crystalized top that still pairs well with ice cream!

I think next batch of peaches, something new like peach crisp. We shall see – stay tuned friends!
