Believe it or not, I have never been to Five Guys or even ate their food – until now of course! Mom and I wanted burgers – Five Guys was the choice.
Ambiance/Atmosphere: I love when you walk in you get that old school diner vibe with the white tile and red accents. At this location, the staff were friendly with quick service!
Drinks: They have one of those fun soda machines with all the different flavors and options. But they also milkshakes. I had to do a chocolate milkshake, because what pairs better with a burger and fries LOL. It was on the thinner side, but chocolatey. I give the shake a solid 7/10.
Menu: They have burgers, dogs and other sandwiches. But it was a burger night – so I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup and mustard plus the fresh cut fries! I love that the burgers can be topped with whatever topping you want. They were similar to a smash burger. I wouldn’t say they are better than Freddy’s , but they were delicious! The fries were my favorite. Fresh cut, perfectly salty and crunchy! They have malt vinegar, that I think just finalized the perfect bite! While we were waiting for our food, we noticed that they had peanuts up for grabs so we enjoyed those as a little appetizer lol.
Tips/Recommendation: The service was quick and they default to-go orders. So if you are in a bind, a quick trip is possible. They also have online ordering as well as door dash if you do not want to leave home LOL. I highly recommend the fries! They are must order. I like the burger with bacon as well! And as always, try something new every time you go!
