Creamy Salsa Dip

While scrolling, I found this fun party dip. I thought I would give it a try in a single portion first. It was delicious, and I am definitely keeping it in mind for the next time I need a fun, easy and yummy party dip.

It’s super simple. Start with a layer of cream cheese on the bottom. Then add salsa on top and then shredded cheddar cheese on top of that. For my single serving, I used a ramekin dish and popped it in my toaster oven at 350 until the cheese was melty and bubbly. It was pretty addicting and a fun dip to eat with tortilla chips! Plus it was easy to put together.

If you want to make a bigger party batch: Start by preheating the oven to 425. Then take a block of soften cream cheese and spread it evenly on the bottom of a baking dish. I would recommend a pie sized dish. Top the cream cheese with your favorite salsa. Recommend 1/3 cup or however much covers the layer of cream cheese. Lastly, top the salsa with your choice of cheese. And as always we measure with our hearts when it comes to cheese. Bake in the oven covered for about 15-20 minutes. Then uncovered for about 5 minutes until the dip bubbles.

I feel like this opens the window for more fun combinations! You can use a corn salsa or a cheese variety or even a jalapeño cream cheese. The options are wide open! Stay tune for what combination I do next!
