Fenicci’s (Hershey, PA)

Just when I thought I am catching up here, I look at my list and it keeps getting longer LOL. But here we go – what better way to start off a mommy daughter evening of seeing a show than with dinner. Unfortunately due to “technical issues” we never got to see the show. But that meant that dinner before was the highlight. And let me tell you Fenicci’s of Hershey did not disappoint!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This cute Italian spot in right in the middle of downtown Hershey. It’s decorated with past Hershey Theater show posters and gives that great dinner and show vibe! Staff were very friendly and gave the best recommendations. They are also very patient with us that take time to decide haha.

Drinks: They have a large drink menu, with a full bar as well as seasonal cocktails. I started with a cranberry rum punch drink. It was very fall, fruity and festive. It was a bit too delicious as it went down easy and was gone fairly fast LOL. I tried a pineapple drink second round, and it was just as delicious and fruity. I give their cocktails a 10/10!

Menu: Their menu is large and I am note exaggerating that one bit! I looked at it days before, and when I arrived I still had no idea what I wanted. After listening to our servers suggestions, it helped to narrow down the options! Having a table that loves options and loves to share – it definitely helps ordering! Let’s start with appetizers. It was national mushroom day so had to order the wild mushroom sauté. It was sautéed with garlic butter, prosciutto and gorgonzola cheese and served with crostini bread. It was delicious and the combination of mushroom and prosciutto was perfect! Calamari was also ordered, because who doesn’t love to start the meal with a that? You also get bread and butter! Another great addition to any meal in my opinon LOL.

Based of the wait recommendations, mom and I ordered the seafood Alfredo and the mushroom risotto. Again, it was national mushroom day so I had to get the mushroom risotto. Both dishes get a 10/10. They were delicious, creamy and decadent. I love that the pasta had a basil Alfredo. It made it fresher and not as heavy of a creamy sauce. The mushroom risotto really just melts in your mouth with every bite! We had to save left overs for lunch the next day and of course for room of dessert!

We had to select 3 different desserts. The dark side of the moon cake, tiramisu and cannoli. All different, yet all very delicious. A perfect end to the meal. We even had some left over dessert to take home. And it went perfectly with coffee the next morning! Click here to see the menu!

Tips/Recommendations: First, you must go! Second, I recommend a reservation. They were very busy and we went a bit earlier; they were only busier by the time we left. They have a bar section, but I wouldn’t rely on that. Ask your server for recommendations, because ours was right on the money with her suggestions! I would definitely order the risotto (any of them) as well as the seafood Alfredo. And as always, try something new every time you go!
