I love being able to explore new places! Blue Elephant drew me in because of their eye catching entrance. I had never notice it before, which makes sense because they only open about 6 months ago. After looking online at their menu, I knew I had to try it and it was quickly added to the list.
Ambiance/Atmosphere: As I said, the entrance alone makes you want to check it out. Their décor is modern and chic. The main level has a large bar and some seating. The main seating is upstairs with one area that can be section off for larger groups/rentals. Upstairs is also a semi open sushi bar/kitchen that gives a welcoming vibe. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My water glass was never empty LOL. I would check out their Instagram to get the true vibe they offer!

Drinks: They have a list of beers, wines and cocktails. I was in the mood for a cocktail, so I decided to order their namesake, the Blue Elephant (butterfly pea flower tea infused vodka, ginger, lemon, sparkling water). It was so refreshing, light yet strong. It was the perfect summer cocktail on a hot day. See the drink menu here!

Menu: Their menu is Asian inspired cuisine with some fun modern twists. Everything ordered was so delicious. My mouth is watering as I type, and not I am thinking I need to plan another trip back ASAP to try more of their menu. First up on the order list was the Godzilla roll (shrimp tempura, bbq eel, avocado, strawberries honey, almonds, eel sauce). Taste, freshness and seafood get a 9/10. The almonds on the top were a bit weird and unnecessary in my opinion. Also ordered was tuna bruschetta (zuke tuna, kizami wasabi, tomatoes, rice crisp, dill aioli). This gets a hand down 11/10. It was the most perfect bite and the tuna was fresh and very flavorful. My favorite part was that it was served on a crispy fried rice chip that completed the bite. I would order this again and again.

For main course, drunken noodles need to be ordered as noodles are my favorite. We ordered some with shrimp and some with beef. Both protein options you cannot go wrong. It was cooked perfect, not over done or tough. The flavors were mind boggling. I don’t know how they had so many layers. It was a bit spicy, but I didn’t mind it at all. So you know it was perfect balance of spice, heat and flavor! I wasn’t planning on ordering dessert, but of course I saw the menu and they had a vanilla crème brûlée so I couldn’t pass that up. And once again, they knocked it out of the park. It was topped with fresh berries that pair so perfectly. I was a bit too full to eat it all, but I don’t regret ordering it at all! See the lunch menu, dinner menu, brunch menu and happy hour!

Tips/Recommendations: You MUST add this to your places to try. I highly recommend ordering the tuna bruschetta, drunken noodles or crème brûlée. But I don’t think you can go wrong with any order. They have the kobe beef on a hot rock (that you could smell) and now that I looked up picture, I am adding this to my list to try as well! They also have happy hour down at the bar you may want to check out as well as a brunch on Sundays – that now I see the menu, I want to try myself. They were very busy for a Thursday evening, but I made a reservation, So I highly recommend that you do the same! And as always, try something new every time you go.
