September Farms Take 2 (Honey Brook, PA)

I have reviewed September Farms before. But if you really know me, then you know I am obsessed and probably go about 2-4 times a month (maybe more) – 😬. But I have tried so many much more, and love them all that September Farms deserves a whole second post!

Let’s start with their coffee bar. I don’t know why their coffee is so good, but it is. I love it hot, iced and even over ice cream LOL. They always have seasonal flavors. I love to get a hot latte, my favorite flavor is their maple, and then have it with one of their cheese tarts. It’s a beautiful combination in the morning! Of course, you should get cheese tarts to go as well, because the next day you do not regret it!

Now let’s talk food. I mentioned the café has great lunch options and the cheese curds are BOMB! I did buy them froze to make at home. They aren’t exactly the same but still very delicious. I made them in the air fryer and ate them with a home hot honey. So delicious! I even put some on a burger and it was a complete level up. Anyways, I have now ordered the breakfast at the café. The breakfast sammies are fairly big and filling. I like to order the one that has the fried has brown inside. It provides an added crisp in every bite. The omelets and burritos are also so big! Honestly, I think it’s their cheese blend that just makes every so delicious!  I would recommend the burrito out of all. I ordered hash browns on the side, but I think it would be even more delicious if it was inside! Don’t forget to check out their donut/soft pretzel trailer. I haven’t tried the donuts, but boy did they smell AMAZING. I will say the soft pretzel was big and hit the spot. It reminded me of Auntie Anne’s pretzels!

Let’s continue the food talk with what you can buy in the market. In no particular order, I recommend all the below LOL. Cheese, I mean they are a cheese farm so I can stress enough that cheese is a must buy. They do have samples that are always fun and delicious. I have sampled so many kinds, but I don’t have a favorite. They are delicious so you cannot go wrong. Do keep in mind you can find their cheese at some local grocery stores, but they are always buy 1 get one 50% off, so when I do get them, two flavors are necessary LOL.

Cheese tarts, you see them right when you walk in and they are a must buy! Most flavors are good, but any one of the berry or key lime are my favorite! It’s hard to leave without one, because the check-out register is up front right next to the display case LOL.

Pie; who doesn’t love pie? Especially apple pie around the 4th of July. It was bought for the long weekend and enjoyed with a warm cup of coffee. I love that they sell their pies by the slice, half or full. This way you don’t overload on sweets haha! Ice cream – affogato is my favorite, but the ice cream is delicious. I enjoyed it as a milkshake as well, but I wouldn’t recommend the biggest size. It was a bit too filling LOL.

The quiches are another great find. I don’t really recommend the ham and mushroom one, but the cheese and bacon is dynamite! It’s great to get and have a breakfast or brunch with mimosas! They also freeze well (sold frozen too). I recommend taking it out the night before and placing it in the fridge. Once again, I think it’s their cheese that makes it so delicious. The flaky yet buttery crust also helps!

French bread pizza stuck out every time I walked the market. Kept telling myself I need to try this. So first was the pepperoni. Cheese is never lacking and balances well with pepperoni. The bread they use is just as good as well. BUT it was the bacon chicken ranch flavor that stole the show. Added BBQ sauce on top balanced with the creaminess of the ranch and cheese. It was like eating a summer bbq in pizza form. I would highly recommend and get again!

Cream cheese spreads/dip are another great buy. So far I have only tasted two, bacon horseradish and the lobster. Again, they were very different yet good in their own way. The fresh scallions in the lobster dip were the perfect add. The bacon horseradish one had chunks of bacon! Other items in the market that I have gotten and recommend is the popcorn kernels (great multi-blend), salsa (the seasonal peach was delicious) and corn chips were great bites!

Lastly, they now have a Sunflower garden you can walk through that again, I highly remember! Overall, September Farms is a must go, you cannot go wrong with no matter what you get!
