You’ve read my review on Great American Pub in Wayne, but I have recently gone to the Great American Pub Paoli/Malvern location (maybe twice LOL). They have a different line up menu items so I had to give it its own review!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: This location has a great big bar as well! Plenty of tables, booths and outdoor seating. TVs around the bar to watch the Philly sports games! Bartenders are friendly and make great recommendations when you’re not sure what to order!

Drinks: A great bar menu and selection. Happy hour and specials are offered daily! Both times I went I ordered beer. Mainly because I was ready to eat some bar grub and beer just felt like the perfect pairing!

Menu: When I say the menu is huge, I am not lying LOL. I had such a hard time deciding and I was all over the place. The first time I went, Hope and I decided to order two different sandwiches to share! It was a brilliant idea. But first we had to start with the cheesesteak spring rolls. As the menu states, they are award winning, so how do you not order them to try? THEY. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. They were perfectly crispy with the right ratio of meat to cheese. The spicy ketchup was a great dipping sauce as well!! 10/10.

The two sandwiches we ordered to share was the GAP grilled cheese. It was on sourdough bread and stuffed with cheese, bacon, avocado and tomato! Another 10/10. Second sandwich ordered was the Ahi Tuna BLT. On rye toast stuffed with the perfectly seared Ahi, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and a wasabi mayo soy glaze that was the perfect combination. I give this an 11/10!!! Both sandwiches came with fries that were crunchy, but soft on the inside. They were pretty damn good!

Of course the second time I went back, I needed to try other items. We came to celebrate Dad’s birthday. Wings were ½ off, so we started with an order of them with the hot sauce on the side. They were crispy, delicious and the hot sauce had the perfect kick! 9/10 for the wings. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. It was on a brioche bun, with pepper jack cheese, Cajun mayo, bacon and a rustic ranch slaw. They were served with old bay fries, which was a surprising delicious combination! The chicken was perfect fried, crispy and juicy all at the same time!

Mom ordered the Cobb burger that was topped with gorgonzola cheese, bacon and avocado. It was a the perfect toppings on the burger, and I feel like it needs to be recreated the next time we grill burgers LOL. Another 10/10. Dad ordered the Santa Fe burger. It was topped with jalapeño peppers, pepper jack cheese, bacon and avocado. Another juicy burger with fun toppings and another 10/10! Since we were celebrating dads birthday, obviously we had to order dessert and chocolate cake was the winner. It was delicious, not too sweet. Not amazing, but not disappointing either! 7/10! Tips/Recommendations: As the menu states, the cheesesteak springs rolls are award winning and do not disappoint. They are a MUST order in my opinion! The Ahi tuna BLT is another must order, as well as any of the burgers! Next time I want try the pizza! Both times, I sat at the bar and it was a great experience, so I recommend sitting at the bar! They also do take out (beer to go too) if you don’t feel like sitting out but want to enjoy the yummy food! And as always, try something new every time you!
