When on vacation, sometimes I get too excited to go out for the next adventure, so I don’t wanna waste my day away in bed. So coffee and breakfast stops are necessary. I had looked up a few options and flagged them prior to the trip. Column 15 was one of the ones closest to the Airbnb so it was the first choice!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: This cute coffee shop is located in a strip shopping center. I love that they have counter to order right when you walk in. But they have several rooms with plenty of seating and a variety of seating. They have cubby seating for students, tables for larger groups and couches. The staff were polite and friendly in the morning. They were quick at making coffees too because they were busy. They are very into the science of good coffee which made it a fun stop. The science of certain temperatures and what add-ins you use. Basically what makes the best drink!
Drinks: I am sad I forgot to take a picture of my coffee. But when I ordered food, it sometimes takes my attention LOL. I did order a large brown sugar latte. It was hot, coffee forward with a hint of sweetness. It would a great way to start the morning. They had a variety of coffees, lattes, teas and more. But what we found to be the most interesting, was the full bar they also had. You could have ordered morning cocktails, or regular cocktails, or beer. It seemed to be popular at coffee shops, and it was a fun twist.
Menu: They had a few pastry options, not as many as I had hoped. But they did have breakfast options. I ordered their sausage egg and cheese on an English muffin. It was a savory sausage with a sharp cheddar. It made for a great morning bite. I don’t think you can go wrong ordering any of their breakfast items.
Tips/Recommendations: I think this is worth a try if you like coffee. Since they had a fun science twist, you could tell that there is science to heating the milk to a certain temperature that makes for the best coffee. Because it was a smooth and delicious latte. Not over creamy or bitter. It was perfectly balance. So I do recommend the lattes! And as always, try something new every time you go.
