The next day happened to be Thanksgiving, but also my birthday. Though, I am extremely thankful, I wanted nothing to do with Turkey or Thanksgiving this day lol. But I did need my birthday noodles. I had flagged a few places that I could get noodles. But I did not think to check if they would be open on Thanksgiving – so poor planning there. While driving looking for my birthday noodles, we stumbled across Lanna Thai Cuisine and they were opened!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: If you aren’t paying attention, you could miss this stop. What appears to be an older house on the outside is Lanna Thai Cuisine. Since it was the holiday, they weren’t busy. We were probably the first customers. But the staff were so pleasant and welcoming. They even gave me a milk tea drink for my birthday! This was a small restaurant with tables, booths and bar seating. It made for a homey atmosphere.

Drinks: They did have a menu of drink options, but with my milk tea, I opted to just have water.

Menu: I wasn’t expecting them to have as big of a menu as they had. So, it was a good thing that I had noodles in the mind to narrow down my selections. I started with the shrimp summer rolls. A because I love how fresh they are and the peanut dipping sauce is my fave. And B because they have rice noodles in! For entree I went with my favorite drunken noodles with pork (because it is the superior protein). Everything was so delicious and fresh. I was reminded how much I love Thai food and how fresh their food is. It was all so good that there were no leftovers (that and it was lunch portions) LOL.
Tips/Recommendations: I think this is worth a try. They had lunch sized portions which I would recommend. If you love Thai food or fresh food this is your stop. I do recommend both the summer rolls and the drunken noodles. And as always, try something new every time you go!
