After eating at Molly Maguires, it was time to explore town! Stopped in a fun Oil and vinegar bar and bought some fun treats. Also stopped in and bought wine slushies (because why not) plus we could walk around town with them. But my favorite stop was Curiosities.
Ambiance/Atmosphere: This Alice and Wonderland themed shop/coffee shop was so cute, chic and quite the vibe! The back was a nice boutique with clothes, jewelry and other fun items, where the front was a coffee and ice cream shop. Of course we had to stop at both sections!
Drinks/Menu: It was a beautiful afternoon and what better way to enjoy than to get both a coffee and ice cream, in the form of an affogato! It’s one of my favorites. I select the coffee ice cream because it just elevates it even more. It gets a 10/10 and was the perfect summer afternoon treat! The coffee was so good. I would stop back just for that. But honestly, I don’t know how you don’t get the ice cream as well!
Tips/Recommendations: This is a must stop at when in Jim Thorpe. Even if you don’t get anything, it’s a cute place to check out. If you like coffee, or ice cream or both, then it is a must try! And as always, try something new every time you go.
