Gentili’s (Exton, PA)

Several people from work have recommended to try Gentili’s. So after nails one day, that’s exactly what mom and I did!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This pizza shop is right on the corner. Gives that old time shop vibe with the open display of pizzas and ordering. They do have some seating inside and a great patio outside. Staff are friendly and give speedy service. You can order online or at the counter. Overall gives a great family pizza shop vibe!

Drinks: They have a fountain soda machine and bottle drinks as well. Mom and I sat outside with our water bottles. They are BYOB and Exton Beverage is conveniently right next door if you want to make a nice little meal out of it all!

Menu: I did look at the menu before arriving. Mom and I really wanted the hoagies. But you pulled in the parking lot and immediately smelled the pizza. Then you saw it there at the counter when you ordered. So of course we had to taste that too. We ordered one slice of the white pizza and one slice of pepperoni with the hot honey. Both were different but so delicious. The crust was crispy and the perfect ration of cheesiness. The hot honey finish was a great put of sweet heat that leveled up the pizza. We also each ordered the Luigi hoagie. It was massive, stacked with Italian meats. We probably could have just ordered one hoagie to share, but then we wouldn’t have had leftovers for lunch the next day. So that would good planning on out parts lol. The hoagie hit the spot – just what we were looking for! I also like that they had bag chips for us to buy, because they helped complete the hoagie meal.

Tips/Recommendations: As always, the first is you must try.  But you will have to go with the mindset that you will probably want to try multiple items lol. I recommend both the pizza and the hoagies. I say order pizza by the slice so you can try more of their menu. I want to go back and try their cheesesteaks next! Even though the hoagies are massive, don’t share them so you have lunch the next day lol. Order online if you in a time crunch. Eat outside on their patio if you have the time. And as always, try something new every time you go!
