The Fridge

When in Lancaster, a fun spot to check out is the Fridge, especially during happy hour!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This small spot offers a great vibe. Seating indoor and outdoor for all kinds of weather. They do not have a bar, but it is traditional pub style with ordering at the counter and receiving a number for your table. Staff are friendly and it is a nice spot of a get together with friends or the family.

Drinks: Given the name, they have a full stock selection of a variety of can and bottle bears. One of the largest selections in the area. But they also offer about 5-10 draft options as well. I decided to go with the sour from Springhouse on tap and it was refreshing and very tart!

Menu: They have a variety of handhelds and appetizers for you to chose from. But their known for their pizza too! We decided to order the meat lovers pizza. It had ham, pepperoni, and sausage. Ask for it extra crispy so the cheese comes out extra gooey and the crust is crunchy and not flimsy at all. They have a pickle pizza that I am dying to try next time!

Tips/Recommendations: You should give them a try, especially during happy hour when drafts and pizza are discounted! I think the pizza is a must order. It hits that pizza craving and you can’t go wrong with any of the kinds they offer. Check out the fridge for new beer options, some of which you may not have ever heard of. Their food and can/bottle beer options are offered to go, if you need a quick dinner pick up. And as always, try something new every time you go.
