Evergreen Coffee

I was looking for a new coffee spot that opens earlier enough to stop before work. That’s when I found Evergreen Coffee Company!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This cute spot is modern, open yet very welcoming. They have several tables, a fireplace as well as high top window bar seating. The staff are very friendly and helpful in selecting something from their variety of options. It’s a cozy café that’s great for a coffee date, study break or a quick grab and go coffee.

Drinks: They offer hot and ice drinks including, coffees, cold brew, cappuccino, espresso, teas and refreshers. They also have seasonal flavors and their everyday flavor options.  First, I tried their special, a tiramisu breve. It was creamy, flavor, a bit bitter and not too sweet! I like the breve’s options (made with half and half) as I find them to be a great creamy and bitter combination. Second time around I decided to order a brown sugar oat milk latte. Another great coffee order that wasn’t too sweet, but sweet enough. The coffee was strong but not too bitter. Next time I want to try an iced drink now that the weather is getting warmer.

Menu: They do not have a large menu of food. But they do have a small display of muffins/pastries. I decided to try the cappuccino muffin. It was the perfect pair to my tiramisu breve. It was very moist, and a wonderful balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. They were big muffins, so really only need ½ of one to have with your coffee but it gives you ½ for later! They do have some other special food items including bagels, avocado toast, pb fruit toast and parfaits. I haven’t tried them yet, but they do look good. The fruit toast especially! They use local bread and seasonal local fruit. So it’s definitely something to try next time!

Tips/Recommendations: During the week they open at 6am, so it is a great before work stop. They were not busy and they didn’t make me cut it close from arriving on time LOL. The café is adjacent to park, so a Saturday morning around 10am, is not a good time to stop by lol. The tables were full and there was a line to order and then wait for you order. I will say they had plenty of staff and were cranking out the drink orders so it wasn’t a long wait, so a positive! Try the specials before they are no longer options. And as always, try something new every time you go!
