Looking for a quick Friday night grub β Thorndale Inn can be an option.
Ambiance/Atmosphere: They have a dinning room side and bar side (sports bar). The bar side has large circle bar, high tops and booths; so, a seat for everyone. Staff are friendly. There seem to be regulars at the bar that helped to provide some great entertainment during the meal as well.
Drinks: They have beer, wine, cocktails and more! It also looked like they had a slushie machine which is great summer drink to keep in mind! I decided to go with a draft beer and keep it simple!

Menu: Their menu is on the larger side with both bar bites and a dinning menu. I did take a peek before coming so I had some ideas but I still had a hard time making the final decision. I first decided to start with the lobster bisque. Which turned out to be the perfect choice as we had a loaf of head bread and butter. The bisque was creamy and well balanced flavor. I did not want to fill up on bread and soup, so I did have to stop myself before the main course. I decided to order the linguini fruit demer. It was their seafood pasta with scallops, shrimps and crab meat in a garlic white wine sauce. It was loaded with seafood. It wasn’t a WOW of flavor but it wasn’t awful either. It reminded me of the entree I ordered from St. Pete’s, but it wasn’t quite that good! I didn’t eat it all, but all my lefts made for another meal to enjoy again. Those are the best, when you can get the most bank for your buck! Click here to see more of their menu!
Tips/Recommendations: They offer happy hour specials, and earlier on a Friday they were not too busy. But by the time we left, the bar was filled and so were all the tables. It’s worth a try, but don’t rush and put it at the top of your list. And as always, try something new every time you go.
