Do you ever want brownies, but don’t have the box mix and are too lazy to make from scratch? Yea, same. This last time I had chocolate cake box mix, so I decided to make this into cake brownies. Not quite as dense as brownies, but it was still delicious and satisfied that chocolate need! Here’s another one you need to use your imagination, because I forgot to take pictures LOL.
First preheat the oven to 350. To my box cake mix, I added ½ cup oil, 2 eggs, vanilla and chocolate chips. We measure those last two items with the heart of course! After mixing until well combined, I poured the batter into a grease baking dish and baked for about 20 minutes (once the tooth pick came out clean). It was delicious bite of cake yet brownie like. It was perfect warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The prefect dessert, but then it also went well with my morning cup of coffee!
Now I am intrigued to try using box cake mix for goodies other than cakes lol. Comment your ideas and suggestions below!
