Brunch anyone? This time around is at the Station Taproom in Downingtown.
Ambiance/Atmosphere: This small corner spot has views of the Septa station in Downingtown, hence its name lol. It has a rustic taproom vibe. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It was a great Sunday morning spot to enjoy brunch!
Drinks: As a tap room, they have a variety of draft beers but also wines, cocktails and brunch drinks etc. They had a bloody Mary flight, which of course I had to order lol. It was 4 different kinds: the OG bloody Mary (8.5/10), jalapeño (6/10 a bit too spice for me), old bay (9/10, love the spice but was missing a shrimp lol) and a bloody Maria with tequila (9/10, another go too favorite). They had seasonal cocktails so I had to try the apple cider martini. It was strong, a sipper for sure. But it tasted like sipping on apple pie. LOL It was a nice finish to the meal!

Menu: They will post their weekly specials on the social, but they have a main menu as well. I did study it prior LOL, but still had to ask my server for their opinion. I had it narrowed down to the breakfast smash burger and the pork roll cheesesteak. Our server loved both but said she liked the burger slightly more, so I went with that (pork roll cheese steak will have to be next time lol). The burger was topped with cooper sharp cheese, sunny side up egg, bacon onion jam, porcini mushroom aioli, lettuce, tomato, onion, toasted sesame seed bun and served with hand cut fries. 10/10 it was delicious and messy as burgers should be. When I tell you it was delicious, not one fry or bite was left on my plate. I ate every last bite LOL. It was the perfect brunch sandwich in my opinion. But now I want to come back and try some more of their menu, because I don’t think I will be disappointed by anything! See the menu here.

Tips/Recommendations: Number one: you should go and try their brunch if you haven’t. It is completely worth it! We arrived right when they opened, but they were very busy by the time we left. They only do brunch on Sunday’s so plan accordingly. If you like bloody Mary’s, I would definitely order the flight but you also cannot go wrong with one of their crafted cocktails. Also double check the special menu and order before they aren’t an option. But when in doubt, ask the server for their suggestions. And as always, try something new every time you go!
