It’s time highlight a favorite go-to work lunch. You get the right amount of people (and those willing to pick up lol) and you can have a delicious local lunch.
Pizza: This place was given a 8.4 by barstool sports and the pizza does not disappoint. Honestly, for me it’s a nostalgic feeling and comfort as it is a pizza that reminds me most of my grandfather’s family pizza recipe. But also, it is really delicious pizza that I would rate at a solid 9.6/10 lol. They only offer cheese, pepperoni and white pizza. They are also cash only with no call ahead option. They are also take out only; no eating in. So you need to plan accordingly but also because most days they sell out. The owner is the pizza master himself, as he preps and makes all the pizza. It’s an open style kitchen so when you go you watch all the magic happen. But again, no call ahead and cash only. So be prepared for a line. I will tell you it’s really worth it! I have not tasted the white pizza, but the cheese is my favorite. I love how he makes it dough, cheese, sauce and cheese. Then after baking it, it’s topped with a cheese finish! Chef kiss!
Steaks: When I saw that a new location, Steaks, was opening. I was so excited. I started follow immediately on social to see the progress and the opening. Then I saw the pictures and I couldn’t wait to try them out. Much like the pizza, the steaks give a nostalgic feeling and DO NO disappoint. They also offer order ahead, and take cards as well as some tables to dine in! But don’t let that fool you, they still get very busy and sell out. So plan accordingly! They offer regular cheese steaks, chicken cheese steaks, pizza cheese steaks and buffalo chicken cheese steaks. They also have fresh cut fries and added wings. I started off getting the regular cheese steak with onions. It is BOMB. The rolls make the sandwich for sure. I love how the cheese is incorporated all in the meat. Every bite is a cheesy bite. The buffalo chicken cheese steak with blue cheese is also delicious. Probably one of my favorite ones, I think I may like it better than Joey’s Pizza. It comes in a very close second to the OG. Some bites I thought it was better but you cannot go wrong with the OG. THE FRIES. They are amazing. Thicker, fresh cut with a salty finish. They go amazing with malt vinegar. I could eat them again and again. They also reheat nicely in the air fryer (because it is a big order and usually leftovers). Once they added wings, you know I had to try them. I went with the house sauce (a combination of hot sauce and ranch). It was a delicious combination. A spicy yet creamy duo. I am sure they are crispier eating in as they were not as crispy after traveling. But I still ate them and the leftovers were even better reheated in the air fryer! Overall I give everything a 9.5/10!
Tips/Recommendations: As mentioned, you want to plan accordingly. Follow their perspective social pages for the latest updates, menu items and hours. I think both are worth a try and I really do not think you will be disappointed in anything you order. But my go-to suggestion is cheese pizza, cheese steak with onions, fries and wings in the house sauce lol. But as always, try something new every time you go!
