After visiting the Berwyn Farmer’s Market one Sunday, Berwyn had a summer fest with a beer crawl. First stop was Casey’s Pour House. I had only been here once for a drink before, but made a mental note to come back and try the food, because the menu looked so delicious. Now …I can’t wait to go back again!
Ambiance/Atmosphere: You can pass this place, if you don’t know where it is. Right at the edge of Berwyn, walking distance from the market, sits Casey’s. You walk into a big wrap around bar with tables/booths around too. They have another dining area off the bar that also opens up for a covered patio access. Around the top edge of the bar room is an old train set with mainline history. A fun setting for this homey location! Bartenders were very friendly and welcoming as well!
Drinks: They have a full bar with cocktails, beer, bottles and wine. It was beer crawl to beer was the choice of drink, in the fun summer fest cups of course! ‘

Menu: They do have a decent sized menu. To give a good try to all, we start at appetizers to order a few (plus it was a beer crawl and this was the first stop, so you needed to save room). The bacon wrapped shrimp, steamed clams and crab and shrimp dip were ordered. The dip was full of chunky seafood and very cheesy. I would give it a 8/10 – overall delicious. The bacon wrapped shrimp was the perfect combination. I think I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier but it still gets a 8/10. The steamed clams were my favorite. They were served with lots of garlic, juicy and with garlic toast. Overall a great sampling, and I can’t wait to try more of their menu. Click here to see the menu.

Tips/Recommendations: Of course the first is try it! I would definitely recommend the clams, they were my favorite. I think you should sit at the bar for the fun vibe and experience. And as always, try something new every time you go.
