Two Stones Pub (Kennett Sqaure, PA)

As I am slowly catching on the last couple months – I realized that you are missing out on all the yummy places I’ve eaten lol. So prepare to become hungry haha. Up next is Two Stones Pub!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: 2SP has multiple locations. The Kennett Square location is located in a strip shopping center, so you may not know that it is there. They have a small but quaint outdoor seating area. Inside has plenty of seating, both tables and booths as well as a bar. It gives a sports bar feel mixed with a family restaurant. We went for a Sunday brunch, right before it was too crowded. So it was a nice quiet atmosphere. But they have happy hours and show the big games etc. so I am sure it can be a fun vibe as well!

Drinks: What started with their beer in a little corner spot some locations have branched out and offered a full bar. I opted to order off the special menu before it disappeared, which meant ordering their seasonal margarita (strawberry at the time). It was delicious, refreshing and not sweet. Oh, and it was strong! A great kick of tequila but perfect for a summer morning. Next time, I’d like to try one of their beers. But I must admit, their cocktails are delicious and may steer me in another direction. I don’t think you can go wrong either way!

Menu: Their menu is not large, but it does have a lot of great offerings that make it hard to decided. Not to mention their brunch specials aren’t posted until the morning of on their Facebook only. So I looked at the menu trying to narrow down my options, only to have to start all over when I arrived and looked at the brunch specials. Of course, I had to go with one of them as they are a special and not always offered. Therefore, I didn’t event tap into the regular menu, which means now I have to go back! Haha I also need to start taking pictures of the special menus, for when I get behind on posts so I remembered what I ordered. The picture doesn’t do it justice for how good it was – that I do remember. It was a seasonal hash, with the crispiest yet soft potatoes ever! Topped with pork carnitas, fresh red and green onions, tomatoes, hot buffalo sauce, white quest and a gooey egg. I think that it paired perfect with the tequila cocktail too! I did not finish it, but only because I didn’t want to be over stuff and I wanted left over breakfast for the next day. It was amazing, even left over! I think next time I need to go when there aren’t brunch specials so I can test out the regular menu. Click here to check it out.

Tips/Recommendations: We did not have a reservation, but we did go early. If you are planning ahead or have a bigger group for brunch, I recommend making a reservation. Definitely check out the special menu for both food and drinks before they are gone! But maybe also order something on the regular menu to give it a try as well. And as always try something new every time you go!
