MeWOW Cat Cafe (Doylestown, PA)

If you really know me, you know I LOVE cats, but I am also allergic. It’s the worse, because I all want to do is rub faces and give kitty cuddles but I must resist LOL. Anyways, you see scrolling that cat cafés exist. I thought, “I wonder if there are any close to me?” I didn’t think there would be – but that’s when I found MeWow and immediately planned my visit LOL.

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This cute café is not big. The cat portion is in a separate room, so if you have friends you want to enjoy coffee with but don’t want the cat cuddles – it’s perfect. They have tables, items (cat inspired) for sale as well as some merchandise available. The staff are super friendly and really treat you like family. You can do walk ins, but they recommend appointments. You pay $10 (per person) for your 25 minute cat room session.  They definitely gave extra time so they are not strict on that. They keep everything clean and tidy. They have a mess of cat toys and brushes for you to use and the clean and sanitizer them after every group. They point out where the foot and liter boxes are for areas in the room to avoid. They have a rule of not picking up cat while standing so they stay calm. They also have everyone sanitize their hands before and after their session. It keeps for a very clean and cozy environment. This helped with my allegories. I took some medicine prior, did not rub faces with the cats, washed and sanitized my hands and then change clothes as soon as arriving home LOL. Overall (cats included or not) it’s just a great vibe and atmosphere!

Drinks: They have your basic café offerings: coffees, teas and cold coffees. They also have flavors! Hot peanut butter cup coffee was ordered. It was a mild flavor, not very peanut buttery at all. However, the coffee was very delicious and gets a 9/10. After arriving about 20-30min before our reservation, we were able to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the café, all while watching the kitty cats.

Menu: They do not offer a food menu, but they have a variety of baked goods to buy from a local bakers. Opted for a lemon cookie from Shelby’s Sweet Things. It was cake like, hint of lemon and not too sweet at all. Paired perfectly with the coffee.

Tips/Recommendations: If you are looking for some cat cuddles, then I would go! I recommend making a reservation ahead of time, as it was busy. I would also recommend getting their early to enjoy some coffee and take a look at all the items to purchase. The employees were great and held everything and let me pay after the cat cuddle session. I would also say they were afford as well! Really just there for cats. I am excited to plan another trip soon!
