Full Moon Cafe (Lambertville, NJ)

Looking for a fun atmosphere with great breakfast diner like food? Then Full Moon Café is for you!

Ambiance/Atmosphere: This fun and stellar café is decorated with neon lights and space décor. It gives a bit of the old diner vibe with the silver mirror panels but also space vibes with darker paint walls. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and made you feel like you were a part of the family. They do a special dinner once a month for the full moon. It was the morning after this dinner and a busy night, but it didn’t change the vibe they set.

Drinks: Your basic offerings of juices, milk, and coffee. But after coffee at Bucks on Bridge, water was the only necessity.

Menu: The menu has plenty of options. Which you know it mean’s I had a hard time deciding what to order. I decided to go with one of their “Famous Benedicts.” But then that led to which one LOL. I know a slippery slope. I decided to order the country Benedict and served on top of home fries inside of an English muffin. The sweet sausage was so delicious, and pair perfect with the gooey poached egg. My favorite part was the home fries. They made for a fun dish and they were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I also got a side of bacon a perfect salty crunch on the side. Click here to see the full menu!

Tips/Recommendations: They did not open until 9am on Saturday and we were one of the first tables there. But they did get busy pretty fast so plan accordingly! The benedicts were delicious and I do recommend, but looking at some of the other plates going by, I don’t think you can go wrong with any order. The waiter raved about their full moon dinner the night before – so something worth checking out. And as always, try something new every time you go.
